Who are we?

The Indy Folk Dancers are a recreational (not performing) folk dance group that meets each week in Indianapolis to enjoy doing dances to recorded music from the Balkans, Israel, Scandinavia, Turkey and other countries. Folk Dances occur in many forms, including circles, long lines, short lines, and couple pairs. Dance skill level varies from beginner through advanced. You do NOT need to bring a partner.

Friday night for International Folk Dancing

When: Friday nights,  7:30 pm to 10 pm Eastern Time


Where: 1516 N Delaware St, Indianapolis - Joy of All Who Sorrow Church, southwest corner of 16th and N. Delaware Sts. Use 16th St Entrance. Small parking lot available beside church off 16th St.

Cost: $3 per person

What: International folk dances from Europe, Israel, Scandinavian and other areas
